At AtLokal, we prioritize your privacy and provide vendors with the ability to have their data deleted upon request. While our systems do not yet support automated data deletion, we ensure that manual requests are handled thoroughly and promptly. Below are the key details of the policy:

1. Scope of Data Deletion

AtLokal ensures that upon a valid request, all vendor-specific data is securely deleted, including:

  • Vendor account details (e.g., name, email, phone number).
  • Store information (e.g., listings, pricing, store performance).
  • Transaction history, except where required for legal compliance.
  • Marketing and analytics data associated with the vendor account.

Certain data, such as invoices or legally required records, may be retained to comply with regulations.

2. Request Submission Process

Vendors can submit data deletion requests through the following channels:

  • Email: Send a request to gdpr@atlokal.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
  • Contact Form: Use the privacy request form on the AtLokal platform.

Vendors must provide their registered email address, vendor account ID or store name, and may need to submit a government-issued ID for verification.

3. Processing Timeline

Upon receiving a request, AtLokal will:

  • Acknowledge the request within 48 hours.
  • Complete the deletion process within 7 to 10 business days, barring exceptional circumstances.

Vendors will receive a confirmation email once the data deletion process is completed.

4. Limitations and Exceptions

  • Account Access: Vendor accounts will be disabled during the deletion process to ensure no new data is generated.
  • Third-Party Services: Vendors must contact third-party providers directly to request data deletion from their systems.
  • Dispute Resolution: Data may be retained temporarily for ongoing disputes or investigations.

5. Data Security During Deletion

AtLokal employs robust security measures to ensure:

  • Secure deletion of data from our servers.
  • Data integrity during the deletion process.
  • Compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.

6. Revocation of Deletion Requests

Vendors can revoke their data deletion request within 48 hours by contacting our privacy team. After this period, the deletion process becomes irreversible.
